This is a demonstration wish list. The Hedgehog Haven is not a real charity, and nothing here is a real request for money. The Hedgehog Hospital Fund pays for the care of sick, injured and underweight hedgehogs brought to us by the public. Last winter we took in 214 hoglets, most of them too small to survive hibernation. Every hedgehog that comes in needs somewhere warm, feeding several times a day, and often a vet. The items on this list are the things that care is actually made of — not our office costs, and not our other work. The fund is restricted: it can only be spent on hedgehog care. If we raise more than an item costs, the extra stays in the fund and goes towards the next one.

Choosing an item tells The Hedgehog Haven what you would like your donation to go towards. It is a preference rather than an instruction: your gift goes to the Hedgehog Hospital Fund fund, and The Hedgehog Haven may use it for anything covered by that fund's description.
